Pals Paper Arts Weekly Challenge

Today is the first day in what seems forever I have had a chance to participate in blogs and get some card making done.  I fear I have lost my mojo a bit as I have had 6 weeks of awful back/sciatic pain but good strong painkillers and some Bowen therapy is helping sort me out.

The blogs I follow and participate in work so hard and despite fearing I'm off my game I still want to enter to ensure a good response and to be supportive.   Here is what I have made.

I used A Wink Of Stella on the pegs and the White Perfect Accents, which have been coloured gold with a Sharpie to add some subtle sparkly glitter.

Why not head over to the PPA blog HERE and check out some more goodies made for PPA266..

Take care of you.

MFT Stamp Sketch Challenge

For this week's MFT sketch challenge I used my new goodies, Happy Birthday background stamp and the newly released Brick Wall Cover-Up background die and the Label Maker Sentiments stamp.

I used Pink Pirouette card and ink from Stampin' Up! and the stitched die from Blueprints 15 Die-namics set.   Next I die cut the Brick Wall using white card and tore by hand this into a rough square shape leaving a couple of the brick inserts in the wall for effect.  This was adhered using thin strips of double sided foam to the card.

made flags for the sentiments and a coordinating black paper and stapled this before using foam dots to create layering.

A Bold Butterfly was die cut from card from my stash and rhinestones and black dots to embellish.

Take care of you.

One For The Boys

I don't often make cards for boys as I'm sure you realise I have a thing for butterflies but today I made an exception lol.

I think he is pretty cute and am sure some little boy would love to receive this card.

Two Challenges In One

Today's card I made for two challenges this week, the TGIF challenge and the MFT sketch challenge.  I usually aim for one challenge one card but this week I have been struggling with my chronic back pain and have been struggling to get about.  So hope you forgive my tardiness.

I used Basic Black card stock and stamped 'love' from the Watercolor Wishes stamp set from Stampin' Up! in VersaMark then clear heat embossed them.  This was then die cut using the large stitched die from the Blueprints 15 set.

Using a pierced tag I die cut Mint Macaron and Watermelon Wonder tags. I then die cut from the Hello You framelits set a "you" and adhered this partially onto the tags.  I used the Bitty star punch and gold glimmer paper to create some glimmer and balance. The enamel dot, flash and peg are from my stash.

Why not head over to the TGIF challenges blog and the MFT Sketch challenge blog and check out what other folk have been making.

Take card of you.

Colour Q Challenge

Today's card has been made for this week's Colour Q challenge.

I started with the new Stampin' Up! thicker white card for card bases.  I then die cut using the Flower Flair die set one of the larger flowers in the Rich Razzleberry.  I then cut into this to make more defined petals cutting some wedges out around the flower.   I then used the thinner centre die in Rich Razzleberry again I layered this onto the larger flower.

Using the dotty stamp from the Perfect Pennant stamp set I stamped using Wisteria Wonder then using the smaller centre die from the Flower Flair set and raised it on a foam dot layered it onto the flower centre.  I then used one of the Antique Faceted button and a Glue Dot to adhere this.

I stamped the tag in Wisteria Wonder using Pinstripe from My Favorite Things and die cut this using a Pierced Tag die from Die-namics.  I layered black Bazzill card behind. The fern leave is Pool Party and I used the Bouquet Bigz die to make this.   The 'hello' is also black Bazzill card die cut using the Hello You set from SU.

Inside is a die cut stitched mat and more of the die cut centres I used for the flower on the front, one each in Wisteria Wonder, Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss.  Rhinestones have been added to embellish and a Rich Razzleberry Candy Dot.

Why not head over to the Colour Q blog HERE and see some other great inspirational cards.

Take care of you.
