Gold Mini Album using Stampin' Up! Project Life Collection.

I have been having the best time making this Stampin' Up! Project Life mini album for my gorgeous friend. Last weekend we had a weekend of merriment at Rewind Scone where we had a great time, despite, or because of, the raining on the Saturday.

I have used the mini album I made a while ago and using an app on my iPad I sized my photos then printed them out.  You can check out my previous blog showing the making of the album here.

This is gold velum from Stampin' Up!, a Tim Holtz binder ring and washi tape from Stampin' Up! also.

The wood element is from Stampin' Up!

My friend loves Snoopy so characters from Snoopy have been included throughout.  Here I have used the Itty Bitty stamps.

This is a Unity Company stamp.

I love these pages.

These are my favourite pages, lots of layering and embellishments using stickers from the additional pack which goes with this PL collection.

I love the umbrella stamp.  This is from Stampin' Up! too.

Tim Holtz Ideology stickers and # stamps from a Stampers Anonymous have been used throughout.

What's great about Stampin' Up! is that everything coordinates so I have used the same colour ink as the opposite page for stamping.

You can see here how I have used the Ticket Builder punch to make the tabs.  I used Stampin' Up! kraft paper, which is extremely durable so minimises the risk of it tearing as people turn the pages.

Yip it rained, a lot!

The Boomtown Rats were amazing!

My mate is a huge Hall & Oats fan so was in her element watching them.

I have loved making and embellishing this album.  I hope my friend loves it as much as I have enjoyed making it.

I hope you are all having a great summer break.  Take care of you.

Just Playing In My This And That Journal.

Stampin' Up! do a fantastic range of journals each with different page colours, washi tape and co-ordinating paper collection.  Some time ago I purchased a 'This and That' journal and I thought I would journal and record my first year as a SU demonstrator however, workshops etc have been very slow. So it is being put to use by myself and I aim to do at least one page every day. Over on Instagram I have joined in daily photo share for the month of June #fmsphotoaday.

To get myself ready I completed a couple of pages this weekend but I now need to buy more ink for my printer.

I did these pages yesterday.......

........ and then this page today.

I am really enjoying just throwing bits and pieces together, it's quite liberating and restful.

If you would like to join in the photo a day for June head over to Instagram, sign up if your new and just enjoy. If you want to follow me that would be wonderful and if you quote @pollycraft on your photos I will follow you back.

I hope your having a great weekend. Any Murray is through at Roland Garros so I am happy lol.

Take care of you.

Cleaning! It's Just a Dylusion!

A friend had a birthday this week and I made her this card using Distress Ink and Dylusions stamps.

Another friend saw this, thought it was wonderful and asked me to make her a similar project in purple.  She has supported me twice this past year hugely, completing work that I couldn't finish due to my difficulties with depression and subsequent time off sick.  So I made this for her.  She wasn't too happy at first taking it without any payment but eventually accepted that I was giving her it as a thankyou and a promise next time she pays, lol.

The washi tape is a variety from Tim Holtz and others from my stash.

I even wrapped it up using the same stamps.

I love the wrapping as much as the frame lol

Hope you like these as much as my friends have.

Stampin' Up! Card Box Sets

This week I have been busy making cards and making box sets.  I tried to vary these in colour, theme and style and these would be easy to mass produce for craft fayres, bazaar's or as gifts.

Here are two sets I have made today.

This set was made using a variety of washi tape with the banner on each card being cut out of card to help add dimension and layering.  I then used my stamps from Stampin' Up! and also my punch for the flowers.

Another set using the Fresh Print designer series paper.  The thinlit is from my stash and thought it was perfect for the sentiment.  Again using the petite flower punch and sticky beads from my stash I think makes all the flowers bright and cheery.

These sets are perfect for mass producing and would be perfect for craft fayres and gifts.

All these products can be ordered from me, simply click on the links before to view catalogues or on the list below and you will be taken straight to the Stampin' Up! site.

If you would like to hold a Hostess Party or participate in any of my workshops again you can book this via the links above or simply pop me line below or via my email, pollycraft.p.a@gmail.com

Hope you are all having a great day.  Take care of you.
