Birthday's Deserve Something Special

My daughter turned 24 today, the thought still makes me shiver, where have all these years gone.  So I got to making her something special for her birthday and what else would I use but all of my favourite products.

I used Distress Ink, Stampin Up, Stampotique and Tim Holtz all on this card.  Moth Fab herself I used my favourite Inktense watercolour pencils from Derwent and two skin tone one's from Faber Castell.  I added some stars using a stencil from Tim Holtz later after I had taken this photo.  I thought it needed them and both Mothy and my daughter deserve to have stars alongside them.

Next I used my Sizzix Eclips and my rolled flower bigz die and made a handbag card, well you know how much I love my handbags.  I used my Martha Stewart score pad with the envelope extra to make the envelope.  As expected she was hoping there would be money inside but just a token for a hug lol. I have a lot of bits n bobs in my stash so had lots of pearl beads and adhered them into the roses.  I then used two jewellery findings with ball endings and used pliers to bend the wire to simulate an old fashioned clasp.  Lots of fun and something pretty and special.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoy these cards.

Stampin' Up! Card Box Sets

This week I have been busy making cards and making box sets.  I tried to vary these in colour, theme and style and these would be easy to mass produce for craft fayres, bazaar's or as gifts.

Here are two sets I have made today.

This set was made using a variety of washi tape with the banner on each card being cut out of card to help add dimension and layering.  I then used my stamps from Stampin' Up! and also my punch for the flowers.

Another set using the Fresh Print designer series paper.  The thinlit is from my stash and thought it was perfect for the sentiment.  Again using the petite flower punch and sticky beads from my stash I think makes all the flowers bright and cheery.

These sets are perfect for mass producing and would be perfect for craft fayres and gifts.

All these products can be ordered from me, simply click on the links before to view catalogues or on the list below and you will be taken straight to the Stampin' Up! site.

If you would like to hold a Hostess Party or participate in any of my workshops again you can book this via the links above or simply pop me line below or via my email, pollycraft.p.a@gmail.com

Hope you are all having a great day.  Take care of you.

Nearing the end of Sale-A-Bration

Well we are into the last full week if March. I must be feeling my age because I'm thinking just how fast the weeks are flying past and we are almost at Easter.

Stampin' Up!'s sale-a-bration , which runs January until March is nearly over with only a few days left to get your chance to receive all those extra bonus's during this time.

One of the free items has been the 'Going For Gold' card pack. I support my church with free goodies for fayre's and fundraising so I made these cards into bundles with gift boxes all ready for their Easter fun.

Here is one of the cards. The tea lights in front have washi tape from the 'This and That' range, also from Stsmpin Up.

I then added more to the box storage using coordinating card stock and flowers from the Petite Petals stamp set and punch.

All in all a fantastic free gift and I'm certain when sold at the church fayre there will be some very happy customers.

Until next time, take care of u.

Stampin' Up! Retreat

This weekend has felt like my very own Stampin' Up! retreat even although I never left my home. I have had lots of fun making a variety of projects all making use of the scallop tag top punch and the Sale-a-Bration paper.  Great fun. Contact me if you wish to purchase any of these Stampin' Up! products or click on the link or buttons below and it will take you straight to the shop.

I added a card base to this but as it isn't meant for writing on I made it into an easel.

A cute gift for someone who adores candles.  And handbags of course!  Tea light candles have coordinating washi tape around the outside.

And of course every posh handbag has clippy cloppy feet.

The leaves are actually The Crafters Workshop stencil, which I cut around.

I also was playing with my sizzix EClips and downloaded svg files successfully and after a lot of fiddling about to get the speed and pressure settings just right I made these.

Great for wedding favours don't you think?

Hope Monday is kind to you all, take care of u.

Wedding Days.

I was sorting out all my cardstock this morning and came across this....

And it brought back lots of memories of my niece's wedding.  As a wedding gift to the bride and groom I made this for them.....

I made a wish tree and a mini unofficial wedding photo album.  I remember sitting for hour punching out butterflies and heart and adhered them to the card using tiny wee pop dots.  I recycled a mini tree that had died from my mums garden and sprayed it gold.  I used a large glass vase lining it with gold tissue paper then after placing the wish tree inside filled it with lots of white chuckies, that stones to people not from Scotland lol.

So I sat and made these this morning....

I added some Perfect Pearls in opal white, adds such an amazing effect taking it to the next level.

Great fun.  Now I am off to find the wedding albums I made last year too but never quite got one finished.

Take care of u.
