Rubic or Square Card

Last night in a moment of inspiration having seen a photograph by My Favourite Things on Instagram I made this card.

I used black as the accent and used a Project Life framelit from Stampin' Up' then made a narrower one in Whisper White.

I then went about making lots of odd shapes using my Dienamics stitched dies.  I had to run them through my Big Shot several times to make smaller shapes.  In total for this card approx 18 times!  I then used Pool Party on bottom left, Daffodil Delight, Tangelo Twist and Mint Macaron on the remaining.  I then used rhinestones from Stampin' Up! To decorate.

Inspired by last night's card I then made this, which is similar to the original on Instagram.

This is Mint Macaron and Heidi Swapp foil papers for the Minc.  I used the Basic Shapes steel rule die from Sizzix.

The accent here is Pink Pirouette and ink used is Mint Macaron, Pool Party and Pink Pirouette.  I added two Bitty butterflies punch in various paper and velum then a sequin and rhinestones were added.  Again as my Dienamics die's are rectangles there was lots of die cutting to create squares.  Lastly, the sentiment was heat embossed in silver embossing powder from Stampin' Up!

I hope today has been kind for you.  Take care of you.

Gold and Mint Macaron Cotton Paper Card from Stampin' Up!

Today's card is fun, interactive and every glitter girls inner child.  Stampin' Up! have brand new cotton paper which feels like tissue paper.  It is gorgeous.

The front layer of velum has been heat embossed with gold embossing powder.  All the pages are made to resemble notepad paper crested by using my Cinch and then snipping into the holes.

Here are some SU Bermuda Bay sequin.  Love it.

Here is the new cotton paper.  It is adorable.

The glitter bow paperclip was made using the Bow Builder punch, hot glued and the tails double layered so it looks good from both sides.  There are more Bermuda Bay sequin on the inside too.  The top of each layer has been raised on Dimensionals to help create definition and interest.

Great fun and I'm sure the receiver will love it.  I would.

Take care of you.

Seven Card Flush

Today I have been inspired by Keisha Campbell whose style I greatly admire.  I have used a layout she has made previously and I combined this with both my Stampjn' Up! And Teresa ColÅ‚ins, Urban Market products.

Here they are.

The middle hexagon has been raised on two Dimentionals and the hexagons on either side raised on one.

Each card has a different sentiment.

The butterflies were adhered using Crystal Effects.

The larger hexagons were punched using a hexagon punch, the smaller one's from the Hexagon die both from Stampin' Up!  The velum and rhinestones are also from SU.  The butterflies were punched using both the Elegant and Bitty butterfly punches.  The card is from Teresa Collins.  The vine background is a now retired embossing folder from SU also.

I hope your Sunday is full of sunshine and happiness.  Take care of you.

Turquoise Delights With Stampin' Up!

Today's cards, yes cards, are all made using one of my favourite colours - turquoise.  I love. It.  It's reminds me of summer, sunshine and longed for clear crystal oceans.

Here I used my Aqua brush and coordinated with navy and gold.  Love it.

Lastly, using silver heart velum I made an envelope, it started as a 3" square, made flags from glitter paper, the silver embossed card from previous card and some retired DSP in Basic Gray.  I then punched out mini hearts in glitter paper and adhered.  The sentiment has also been heat embossed with silver embossing powder.

Gorgeous.

Hope you are all having a wonderful day.  Take care of you.
