Christmas Is Just Around The Corner

As every crafter knows October is thee month to start all the hard work to ensure all the cards and tags and other crafts are ready for selling prior to the big guy coming himself.  So I have been making a start as you will know and over the past few days I have been busy making cards and tags.

This is a My Minds Eye stamp from 2012 and I have used Walnut Stain to stamp and Vintage Photo on the edges.  I then used Stickles in Christmas red and green and cut twine to make these tags.

These are A7 size kraft cards stamped with a JOFY stamp, Stickled as before and Liquid Pearls in Buttercup and White Opal to embellish.

This is another mini JOFY stamp.

And lastly......

These have been great fun to make.

I am selling these in my Folksy shop.  There are only 3 packs, 5 in a pack, each.  I prefer not to mass produce keeping them more unique.  The tags are also for sale, 8 in each set.

Hope you are enjoying your crafting.  Take care of you.

Christmas Cracker

I am ssssoooo gonna get in trouble for this blog but hey ho, hey ho........  Yip here is my first official  Christmas blog wwwoooooo hhhhoooooo.......!

As I have been making tags I absolutely had to use my favourite girls.

Merry Christmas Mothy x

I have used a Prima tag and then used the red Gelato from Faber Castell and then stamped one of my new JOFY stamps using my PITT big brush pens. I used a variety of white pens and a Tim Holtz stencil to add some dimension and background.

Moth fab was stamped onto watercolour paper and coloured using a variety of red Inktense pencils and raised on pop dots.  She then got properly dressed for her Christmas party putting on her favourite black belt and pearl buckle.  Last but not least although she doesn't normal wear them, a Santa hat is a must.

Using my favourite Christmas stamps, so far, from Stampin Up a very appropriate sentiment was stamped in Barn Door Distress Ink, raised on pop dots and a Christmas green card for the background.

Then I just played adding tape, Butchers Twine in Xmas, ribbon, lots and lots of Stickles in Christmas Red and green and also some gorgeous ribbon on the top.  I also added a wine glass charm I made, which has red, green and clear gems and a charm.  Lastly I distressed the tag with Festive Berries, no less, Distress Ink then stood back and smiled.

I love Christmas and can't wait to make more fabby Christmas goodies.

Vintage Inspired Dress Form Tags

I have been really busy making tags, which I have been really enjoying. Rather than share lots of photos I will put up one and add a link to my videos. The videos are all quite short so don't worry you won't have to listen to my dulcet tones too much lol

Tag Tastic

Hello everyone.  Long time no speak.  Work and life has been a huge struggle for me lately, so much so I really haven't had a creative mind and energy about me, but I have tried really hard to do something these past few days.

One item I have made is a dress form tag, super sized and has a vintage feel.

Lots going on.  I have used lots of layers from stamping, paper layering, washi tape and pop dots.

Much of these are items I have had in my stash for such a long time, the material for the dress came from my wedding dress 18 years ago, it lasted much longer than the marriage lol.

List of Items:
Prima Botanicals paper
Tim Holtz washi tape and Vintage Photo and Old Paper Distress Inks
I Am Roses with Distress Stickles in Clear Rock Candy
Craftwork Cards stamps
Various ribbon, lace, tulle, charm and buckle from stash.

Hope you like and have fun crafting.
