Primary Colours

Over on MFT Stamps Summer School is in and yesterday's lesson was 'Primary Colours'; red, blue and yellow.  So to reflect I was listening to my teacher I made this last night but waited until today to photograph in good daylight.

I used Distress Inks, Salty Ocean, Festive Berries and Squeezed Lemonade, stamped Elegant Butterflies in Black Archival ink then punch them out with my Elegant and Bitty butterfly punches from Stampin'  Up!

I Love My Blueprints 15 Die-namics Die Set

Ok, I do have an obsession with my new Die-namics Blueprints 15 die set.  With such amazing shapes and angles it's easy to create something beautiful and I'm loving how my cards are turning out.

I have used retired DSP, Crumb Cake, Sky Blue and Silver Foil paper all from Stampin' Up!  The inner die cut and the butterflies have all been raised on Dimensionals with rhinestones in the centre of the butterflies and on the edges for decoration.

White cotton thread has been used for interest and decoration.

The butterfly is Crumb Cake and velum.  The whole page has also been raised on Dimensionals.

Inside are die cuts using the Stitched Rectangle set also from Die-namics and Sky a Blue card.  The sentiment has been stamped in black Archival ink and raised on Dimensionals with a rhinestone added for decoration.

I'm not sure when my obsession will end but I will try and use some other products do not yo bore you all lol.  Hope your day has been good fun.  Take care of you.

Rubic or Square Card

Last night in a moment of inspiration having seen a photograph by My Favourite Things on Instagram I made this card.

I used black as the accent and used a Project Life framelit from Stampin' Up' then made a narrower one in Whisper White.

I then went about making lots of odd shapes using my Dienamics stitched dies.  I had to run them through my Big Shot several times to make smaller shapes.  In total for this card approx 18 times!  I then used Pool Party on bottom left, Daffodil Delight, Tangelo Twist and Mint Macaron on the remaining.  I then used rhinestones from Stampin' Up! To decorate.

Inspired by last night's card I then made this, which is similar to the original on Instagram.

This is Mint Macaron and Heidi Swapp foil papers for the Minc.  I used the Basic Shapes steel rule die from Sizzix.

The accent here is Pink Pirouette and ink used is Mint Macaron, Pool Party and Pink Pirouette.  I added two Bitty butterflies punch in various paper and velum then a sequin and rhinestones were added.  Again as my Dienamics die's are rectangles there was lots of die cutting to create squares.  Lastly, the sentiment was heat embossed in silver embossing powder from Stampin' Up!

I hope today has been kind for you.  Take care of you.

Watermelon Wonder Card

Stampin' Up! has new 'in colours' for 2015/2017 and Watermelon Wonder is another striking colour which many future cards will surely be used for.

I used a Stampin' Up! Glitter Paper and Foil Paper for the butterflies.  The tag has SU gold ribbon and is heat embossed with white embossing powder, white pearl accents added with the sentiment also heat embossed using gold embossing powder all from SU.

Other products used are Dienamics dies and Teresa Collins gold pearls.

Perfect.

Take care of you.

Stampin' Up! Mint Macaron Obsession

I think I have a serious problem; I can't stop making cards with this beautiful Mint Macaron and silver combo!  I just love it.  It's simple, elegant, summery and really beautiful.

Here is today's card.

Again I have used the Irresistably Yours resist card stock for the tag using the brand new Elegant a Tag punch.  The silver ribbon has been stapled and Dimensionals added to the top part only.  The butterflies have been die cut from my Sizzix Basic Shapes die in velum and Whisper White then stamped in Mint Macaron using the Flowering Flourishes stamp set.  I used the largest of the three stamps.

I used my Bitty butterfly punch and adhered these to the card using wet adhesive.  Using silver thread, a sequin from my stash and Rhinestones from SU I embellished the tag and card.

The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark and then heat embossed with white embossing powder on the Mint Macaron card.  This was then die cut using a Chalk Talk framelit.

I trust your day has been kind to you.

Take care of you.
