Tip Top Taupe Sublime

Today's card is a mix of Tip Top Taupe from Stampin' Up!, Die-namics from My Favorite Things of course, and yellow card from Bazzill and DCWV.   Here it is.

I used the Die-namics die Stripes Cover Up from MFT Stamps and Tip Top Taupe from SU. I replaced the inlays with Whisper White from SU.  I then adhered this to yellow Bazzill card stock, which has been die cut using the large stitched die from Die-namics Blueprints15 set.

The butterfly is die cut from Sizzux Basic Shapes Bigz die using DCWV Collage Stack. This paper stack has never been released in the UK and I had a friend ship it from the U.S. especially for me. It has been a great collection, well loved and well used.  The tag is Mint Macaron from SU die cut using the Pierced Tag Stax from Die-namics.

The heart is also from the Basic Shapes die using SU emboss resist paper that was available during Sale A Bration. This has been placed in a Dimensional from SU, as has the butterfly. Silver thread has been used behind the butterfly, this is also from SU.

Lastly stickers from Tim Holtz, tiny butterflies using a punch from my stash and rhinestones from SU have been used to embellish the card.

On the inside the same tiny butterflies have been punched from the Bazzill card with rhinestones added to adorn them.

I hope you have enjoyed today's card. Please leave a comment if you wish and come back tomorrow for another card.  Take care of you.

Die-namics Loves Project Life

Today I have been thinking of more ways to make use of the many Project Life cards I have and so I have made a few similar cards, mainly neutral so are gender friendly.

Card 1

Card 2

Card 3

Lots of fun and has scratched this morning's itch for making cards.  Coffee and snack time then I'm off again lol.  Happy weekend to you all.  Take care of you.

Freshly Made Sketches Weekly Challenge

However, today primary colours must still be in my headspace because for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge I made this.

Right up until I was adding the sequin I wasn't sure about this card, in my head I knew exactly what I wanted but as I putting it together I was full of doubt.  Now I love it.

I used the new Cotton Paper from Stampin' Up! die cut and stamped from Flower Patch and coordinating dies then layered with foam dots onto a Basic Gray Striped Cover Up die from My Favorite Things, Dienamics.  I used a large Pierced a Tag to create the accent at the bottom, which had been stamped with Sweater Knit with Antique Linen Distress Ink.  I then used the 'Hello' only from the Hello Life stamp set from SU then die cut this with a small tag die.  I used Watermelon Wonder ink from SU with this.  A small foam dot and Glossy Accents were used to adhere this down.

From the side you can see how the petals curl, I used a bone folder on all the petals for this.

Inside I used a Stitched Rectangle from Dienamics and a die from Hello You from SU.  This was die cut in whisper white and watermelon wonder and I offset them slightly to create a bit of a shadow effect.  Silver sequin then added to embellish front and inside.

Why not head over to Freshly Made Sketches blog, click here and see what others have been creating.

See you tomorrow.  Take care of you.

Primary Colours

Over on MFT Stamps Summer School is in and yesterday's lesson was 'Primary Colours'; red, blue and yellow.  So to reflect I was listening to my teacher I made this last night but waited until today to photograph in good daylight.

I used Distress Inks, Salty Ocean, Festive Berries and Squeezed Lemonade, stamped Elegant Butterflies in Black Archival ink then punch them out with my Elegant and Bitty butterfly punches from Stampin'  Up!

To head over to the MFT blog and check out their SummerSchool just click  here

See you tomorrow, take care of you.
