Home Decor

Sorry I have been MIA for a while.  Life is very busy right now and I have been very ill so when I get home from work I'm exhausted.

That said I have made a couple of gifts for my daughter's partner.

He has a couple of gorgeous dogs who he adores. So these gifts he truly lives.

I'm also about to begin a new endeavour in my life; I'm going to train in Bowen Therapy. So I have been busy moving my spaces around at home so I can have a therapy table in place for my Guinea-pigs, I mean clients lol. Well not paying clients just yet, it's me who should be paying them for letting me practice on them.  So I made a frame for myself too

I hope you are all busy with your Halloween and Christmas crafting.

Take care of you.

Mini Album

Today I have made a mini album using the Urban Market collection from Teresa Collins.  This is a Christmas present for my daughter.  She doesn't follow my blog so I'm pretty safe lol.  I used an IKEA frame and some metal clips from my stash.

My beautiful daughter.

Die-namics Pierced Tag.

I have only placed some photos inside.  The rest has been left blank for her to pick her favourite photos and will be put in later.

Lots of layering.

Tim Holtz Ideaology stickers.

Sizzix Basic Shapes die for the butterfly.

Stampin' Up! mini stapler, my new fav toy.

Project Life die from Stampin' Up!

Stampin' Up! Vintage Faceted Button.

Stampin' Up! Butterfly punch.  Lots of layers.

I am in love with this.  I almost want to keep it for myself but I know my daughter will love it too.

Take care of you.

Think Happy, Be Happy.

Today's card uses Teresa Collins Urban Market collection and Die-namics from My Favorite Things.

I used the large stitched die from Blueprints 15 after stamping the Pinstripe stamp from My Favorite Things and Grout Gray ink, also from MFT Stamps.

I used black Bazzill card and white embossing powder from Stampin' Up!  The stamp used for the sentiment is MFT Stamp Clearly Sentimental.

The silver thread is from Stampin' Up!, the rhinestones from my stash and the black accents are from the Urban Market collection.

Inside I die cut using Die-namics Stitched Rectangles with black Bazzill card and white from my stash.

I hope you have enjoyed this card and come back tomorrow to see another one.  Take care of you.

The buttons on both cards are from Stampin' Up!

Urban Market Meets Die-namics

Keeping myself entertained in this cold summer day in Carnoustie, Scotland. I'm not sure where summer is but I'm seriously thinking I blinked and missed it. However, I am enjoying my Summer School lessons over at the My Favorite Things blog.  Today's lesson was symmetry, which I think my cards fits perfectly.  Here is one card I have made today.

The paper collection is from Teresa Collins - Urban Market and my die set of choice is of course Die-namics.

That said, I adore my dies from Stampin' Up! - Hello You and Bold Butterfly, must have's.

I hope you enjoyed this card. I love it. Why not come back tomorrow and see what's in store then. Cheers. Take care of you.

Seven Card Flush

Today I have been inspired by Keisha Campbell whose style I greatly admire.  I have used a layout she has made previously and I combined this with both my Stampjn' Up! And Teresa ColÅ‚ins, Urban Market products.

Here they are.

The middle hexagon has been raised on two Dimentionals and the hexagons on either side raised on one.

Each card has a different sentiment.

The butterflies were adhered using Crystal Effects.

The larger hexagons were punched using a hexagon punch, the smaller one's from the Hexagon die both from Stampin' Up!  The velum and rhinestones are also from SU.  The butterflies were punched using both the Elegant and Bitty butterfly punches.  The card is from Teresa Collins.  The vine background is a now retired embossing folder from SU also.

I hope your Sunday is full of sunshine and happiness.  Take care of you.
