Colour Q Weekly Challenge

This week's Colour Q  challenge had me reaching for my new goodies and whilst I was assembling my card even more were delivered so of course I had to use them lol.  It is also Secondary Colours day over at Summer School at the MFT blog, this will be entered there too.

The base card is Blushing Bride and stamped with Brushstrokes.  I actually started with the Summer Starfruit but chose differently once it was stamped.  The card behind the butterfly is Summer Starfruit stamped using Writing Notes and I found some thin white wire in my stash.

My new goodies - Die-namics Pierced Tags, so I had to use one, or two in this card.  The first is on the front.  The "happy" is a die from Hello You with the "birthday" is another die stamped in Rich Razzleberry on another tag.  The Itty Bitty flower punches used throughout.

Lots of layering.  Pretty.  Why not head over to Colour Q and check out what other great projects there are, click here

You can also click here to go over to the MFT blog and check out their Summer School tips.

I hope your day is pretty great too.  Take care of you.

Stampin' Up! Congratulations Card.

Happy days folk.  Today's card was inspired by a colour combo site I viewed recently so much so I wanted to join in the fun. You can visit the Colour Q site here and view other great designs.  I have also joined in a challenge over at Pals Paper Arts, you can click here to also check out more great entries.

As always my products are predominantly from Stampin' Up! with the one exception being my favourite die Thinlits from Dienamics.  I simply love the faux stitching effect.  The card is Blushing Bride and Nights of Navy.  I used the Bitty Butterfly and the Elegant Butterfly punches.

I measured roughly and used the Dienamics die to die cut the apertures then used one of the die cuts for the sentiment.  The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark and gold embossing powder used.  The stamp set is Express Yourself, which has now retired, but is one of my 'go to' favourites.

I used the largest die to cut this for inside the card and punched a Bitty butterfly.

This pic was taken before I put the inside layers in but you can better see all the layering.  I used Dimensionals throughout and also some pearl accents, also from Stampin' Up!

I hope you have enjoyed this card, if so please consider leaving a motivational comment or feedback.

Take care of you.

Blushing Bride And Gold

Today I have made another two cards.  I used Blushing Bride ink and gold embossing powder both from Stampin' Up!   I used the framelits set, which you can also purchase, some gold bakers twine and some stamps from the Point and Click set to embellish.

I used an embossing folder from my stash to add layers and depth.  I love these, so pretty.

Hope you are having a great day.  Take care of you.
