Stampin ' Up! Sale-A-Bration Is Coming To Scotland!

Ok, most of you out there will not be as buzzed as I am about this news, bit I hope you love that I am and having been looking forward to this for many months.

Last week I managed to make my Swaps for the meet and today I finally managed to get my name tag all completed.

I used Tempting Turquoise and Smoky Slate cardstock for the background and Whisper White for the flowers and the ticket.  I used Smoky Slate to stamp the flourish and Basic Grey for my Admit zone ticket.  The flowers were stamped using Petite Petals, the ticket using That's The Ticket and the flourish using Flowering Flourishes.  The ticket and flowers were then punched out with their co-ordinating punches.

I used the Tempting Turquoise for my name and some marled white cardstock I had in my stash.  Using my Sizzix Eclips I cut out my name and adhered the white and turquoise letters together before adhering them to the name tag.

I then used my crop-a-dile to punch out the gold Glimmer Paper circles and adhered them to the centre of the flowers and the dot on the 'i'.

I am so excited about tomorrow and to catch a glimpse of what the new catalogue will bring for 2015.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Take care of u.

Stampin' Up! Sale A Bration swaps.

16 of these candy cane treats made today for my swaps at next Saturday's Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration launch.

I used burlap ribbon and sewed the sides using embroidery thread and a blanket stitch (first time).  I  made wee tags using the round tab punch, stamped some christmas ornaments on the green tab (old Olive) and heat embossed using gold embossing powder and a merry christmas stamp on the red tab ( Cherry Cobbler).

I also sewed white pom-poms together, used gold ribbon and a gold glitter star to embellish.  I then used a mini white peg from my stash to secure them all together.

An all day effort but worth it, I love them.

Hope your having a great weekend.

Take care of you

Christmas With Stampin' Up!

I hope this finds you all well.  It's been a while since I blogged, been very busy at work, had breast surgery (not serious, but the general anaesthetic completely knocked me for six) and life in general.  I haven't actually done any crafting since early October.

So this weekend I was determined to get some commission's finished and get some Christmas cards made.

First I made these.  These are my alternative christmas crackers.  Inside there is a tag, a wine glass charm and a keyring, all hand made.  So this is for my Secret Santa and I hope they love them too.

Next I made another 2 sets of these and........

finished off the set of Snowmen.  All great fun.

The friend who has ordered the treat boxes as advent calendars is giving them as gifts to two wee people, a boy and a girl.  So I made some handmade gift bags for them too.  She is an extra special friend so going that extra bit is well deserved.

Then onto my Christmas cards.  These are also all Stampin' Up! gorgeousness.

I used Perfect Pearls and Versamark for the sentiment inside.

And finally 12 of these too.

When I was in the middle of making these a friend asked if I could make her a Scottish themed Christmas card.  I'm really time short right now so I made an extra wreath card and put this tartan paper inside.  It's from the DSP pad in the Stampin' Up! Winter catalogue.

I then made a kind of thistle using beads and some ribbon.  I hope she likes it!

So that's been my weekend so far.  As from tomorrow it's all heads down to do more studying and getting an essay written for my Masters course I started a few weeks ago.   Just call me the procraftinator lol.

Take care of you.
