Valentine Cards
It's almost Valentine's Day again so I have been making cards. I always think buying a card for the man in your life harder, either they are too girly or too mushy. So with this in mind I have made some just for the men, but first some pink.

I Am Perfectly Wicked
It feels like it's been a long time since I just sat down to play, with nothing in mind and just letting what happens happen. I don't know about you but when I'm feeling low I sit and stare at my cards, stamps, inks etc and find it incredibly difficult to put something down.
Here is what I have just finished.
The stamps primarily are Dylusions and the box string one is Hero Arts. I used my PITT big brush to colour and Distress inks on the background. The black pens are Micron 02 and 03 and the white is a Signo broad.
I then had more fun, stayed in the groove, lol and did this.
Tim Holtz Shatter stencil in the background, which I spayed some water through and his number stencil. The barbed wire stamp is from Visible Image.
I'm glad I managed to get something completed, quite therapeutic sitting for ages dotting, bit like me - dotty haha.
Hope you have had great weekend. Take care of you,
Pauline

Door Hanger
Tonight I have been busy playing with my gelatos from Faber Castell. As promised I have made something new other than a card and will definitely be making more of these to sell at my Christmas fayre.
The hanger is plywood which I bought from my local craft store. I used all my pink and purple gelatos then used my PITTbig brush pens to stamp on top. I used Tim Holtz dots first, Hero Art stamp along the bottom and a flower and heart from my Dylusions collections.
I did the back too and stamped using a Dylusions dangle. I then used a purple PITT pen around the edges, stamped out a sentiment, Dylusions of course, and then covered the entire hanger with gloss deco patch glue to seal.
Great fun and fantastic for every young person.
Have a great weekend
Pauline

Gelatos and Inktense Pencils
Faber Castell Gelatos and Derwent Inktense pencils.
This week I have been having fun using some new art mediums as a means of expanding my creative skills. I have never used watercolour pencils before and having watched many hours of amazing and very talented people using Gelatos I had to have a try. So here is my first effort.
I covered some watercolour paper with the gelatos blended them with water using a wide brush and once dry I stamped on top with this really cute stamp using Versafine ink in black.
I then went about colouring in, what a joy. Fantastic fun.
I adhered it onto a slightly larger piece of cardstock which I had inked with Tim Holtz Distress Inks, in Broken China, Tumbled Glass and Faded Jeans. I then adhered this onto my white card and distressed inked around the edge with more Tumbled Glass and my ink blending tool.

Would love to hear what you think. Thanks for dropping by.
