Forgot to post yesterday's fun.

Yesterday I was having major problems with Internet service so never got the chance to give you all a laugh at my pictures.

All my pictures will be adhered to cards when I get home and will be available to buy if you have any crazy friends who would appreciate my sense of humour lol.

Happy doodles to you all.

More Craziness

Hi all.  Whilst sitting in the sunshine with the kids away swimming and doing what kids do I had time for me.  Here is what I played with today.

This I did first using inks and also gelatos for the hearts, wings, leggings and boots.  With this heat the water disappeared very quickly.

This I made to email my friend who is having an operation later this week and I won't be seeing her for quite a while.  I will miss her.  She loves it and thinks I'm mad! Me? Never.....

Take care and use sun block

Bold & Beautiful

Today's card I used Dylusions stamp set, Tim Holtz Distress Inks and Faber Castell PITT pen in black.

I started using Ranger paper for my blending and stamping cut down to 5" x 3 3/4".  Starting with the lightest colour to the darkest.

I then stamped my images using Broken China.

Using a 0.3mm PITT pen I doodled around the page and added some white highlights using a Big Brush PITT pen, also from Faber Castell.

I added a greeting again using the black PITT pen and then used my Sharpies Paint Pen to add a stronger white effect around the sentiment.

Thanks for dropping by, take care.

Dylusions for Ranger Dyan Reaveley stamp 'How Does Your Garden Grow'

Gelatos and Inktense Pencils

Faber Castell Gelatos and Derwent Inktense pencils.

This week I have been having fun using some new art mediums as a means of expanding my creative skills.  I have never used watercolour pencils before and having watched many hours of amazing and very talented people using Gelatos I had to have a try.  So here is my first effort.

I covered some watercolour paper with the gelatos blended them with water using a wide brush and once dry I stamped on top with this really cute stamp using Versafine ink in black.

I then went about colouring in, what a joy.  Fantastic fun.

I adhered it onto a slightly larger piece of cardstock which I had inked with Tim Holtz Distress Inks, in Broken China, Tumbled Glass and Faded Jeans.  I then adhered this onto my white card and distressed inked around the edge with more Tumbled Glass and my ink blending tool.

Hero Arts Stamp: Flower Text
Faber Castell Gelatos
Derwent Inktense watersoluble ink pencils
Faber Castell PITT pens in black
Sharpie paint pen in white

Would love to hear what you think. Thanks for dropping by.
