Colour Saturation ATC Stampotique Swap April.

Coloured card stock with wax crayons.  I chose to do this corner to corner, but any which way would be good.

I then painted the card with black gesso and left to dry.  Who remembers doing this at school when we were wee?

Using a Tim Holtz stencil I roughly scrapped off some gesso and then drew around the srencil to outline in white using a Signo broad pen in white.

I then stamped 'Smile' out in black archival ink onto card I had inked with Distress ink, using Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed and Wild Honey.  I used some clear rhinestones from my stash and using 'Pool' Adirondack ink and a bottle top saturated the rhinestones and then adhered using wet glue onto Smile.

I used my Stampin Up markers to add dimension and colour also using Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, Pink Pirouette, Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie, Tangarine Tango, Always Artichoke and Garden Green.

I then found a quote I thought was appropriate and wrote it on black card stock, cut out and raised on pop dots.

These will be flying off around the world tomorrow to their new owners, which I hope they enjoy as much as I have making them.
