Colour Q Weekly Challenge

Today's card I have made for the Colour Q challenge and what a challenge it was. I struggle when I am challenged to leave my usual colour palette but I am happy with how this card turned out.

I used Wisteria Wonder card and ink, So Saffron card and ink, Bermuda Bay and Twisted Tangelo inks.

To embellish I used some Wink Of Stella on the Wisteria Wonder hearts and enamel dots from my stash.

Why not check out other designs over in the Colour Q blog.

I hope you have enjoyed this card and hope to see you back here tomorrow for another card.  Take care of you.

My Favorite Things Weekly Challenge

Lots of fun creating this card for the MFTWSC243 so much so I made two lol.

Here I stamped Sweater Stitch, Cheesecloth Background and Typewriter Text for this card.  I used a combination of Blueprints 15 and 18 sets.

I used the Zig Zag Square die set here.  The gold thread is from Stampin' Up! and the gold rhinestones are from my stash.  The butterflies are from the Bold Butterfly framelits set from SU.

The sentiment is from the Totally Hsppy stamp set from My Favorite Things.  To make the flags I used the Striped Cover Up die from Die-namics and used the inside die cuts and stapled them with my SU stapler.

For this card I again used a combination of Die-namics and Stampin' Up! products.  I used SU paper, Zig Zag Square die, Blueprints 15 and 18 die sets both from Die-namics and Bold Butterfly framelit from SU.

The silver thread is from SU.

A fun combination of circles and stripes with a splash of colour.

Take care of you.

Pals Paper Arts Weekly Challenge

Today's card I have made for the Pals Paper Arts weekly challenge using some awesome Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper, which is definitely on my wish list.  I received some from a kind friend as she knows me so well lol.

I used the gold sample and made a tag embellishing this with white bakers twine and a Vintage Designer Faceted Buttons, both from SU.

I used these small gold sequin which were a fantastic purchase at Dunelm Mill for 49p, bargain.  The pink card is Pink Pirouette from SU which has been gold heat embossed using My Favorite Stamps Abstract Background stamp.

I used the reverse of the tag paper which is a fun polka dot and gold glimmer paper from SU and stapled this using my SU mini stapler and used a gold Sharpie to make this gold.

Using the thin Blueprints 18 die I used some more of the paper to add an accent for the inside layered under a die cut using Die-namics Stitched Rectangle die.

Great fun.  Why not head over to the Pals Paper Arts blog HERE and check out other projects.See you back here tomorrow for another card.  Take care of you.

It's All About Happy

Today's card is back to my signature style so to speak, if you think I have a signature style. It's all about the happy and the butterfly. Here it is.

I used Smoky Slate card from Stampin' Up! as my base. I stamped My Favorite Things Typewriter Text stamp with Night of Navy ink from SU and the Dotty Angles  stamp set from SU using Grout Gray from MFT Stamps.  I then used the angled dies from Die-maniacs Blueprints 18 set and adhered these to the Smoky Gray base.

Using the Pierced Tag set and Fluttering Hearts dies from MFT Stamps I layered this using foam to the card.

I die cut the butterfly using SU Bold Butterfly framelit and Teresa Collins paper collection Urban Market.  I stamped a sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental set from MFT Stamps stamping into a piece from the Urban Market collection, cut this and raised both the sentiment and the butterfly off the page using Dimensionals.

Inside I used the Stitched Rectangle and Zig Zag Square dies sets from Die-namics and layered these adding a silver glimmer paper punched heart from SU.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing this card and consider coming back tomorrow to see another. Take care of you.

TGIF Weekly Challenge

This week I will try and remember to upload my photo to the TGIF blog, last week I forgot lol.  Being back at work and keeping up to date with making cards for the blogs I love to join in with is getting more difficult, but I will keep trying.  Here is this week's card.

I used some retired DSP as I thought it was fun and worked well together with these new stamps.  I used Writing Notes stamps in the background and the front card.  I used my Cinch to make the wholes then snipped into them to create the notebook effect.  I used Mint Macaron ink for this and Pumpkin Pie on the front card.

I used the Project Life framelits set to make these 3x4 cards.  The stamp sets are Watercolor Words and Layered Letter Alphabet.

I used a Dienamics die inside.  Sweet.

Why not head over to the  TGIF blog here and enjoy what others have been making.

Oh yes, here is the card I forgot to submit last week lol.

I hope you have enjoyed these cards and come back tomorrow.  Take care of you.

My Favorite Things Weekly Challenge

Here is my card for the MFT weekly sketch challenge.

I used Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper and both Stampin' Up! and Dienamics dies to create this card.  First I used the large stitched die from Blueprints 15 then an oval die from SU.  I also used the Stitched Rectangles set for the sentiment. On the outside and inside the card.

The stamp set is from MFT stamps

A cream paper flower from my stash and rhinestones have been added to embellish the cards.

I'm not sure I have said it before lol, but I love making cards so I made a second one.

First I used Grout Gray ink and Sweater Stitch background stamp and layered this onto Smoky Slate card.  I then use my oval die and Night Of Navy card and used some white embossing powder and stamps from #mftstamps, Totally Happy, and decorated it with a sentiment from the set. I used the Blueprints 18 set for the flag and I used the stars to embellish the card.

Freshly Made Sketches Weekly Challenge

This week for the FMS challenge I have been busy making a new card.

First I taped off an area across my card with some washi tape.  I then used Stampin' Up! stamp Dotty Angles.  Using the circle stamp and black ink I turned this around to create the top and lower parts.

I used gold foil paper from SU and the 'happy' framelit from the Hello You set adhering this only in parts across the blank space.  I used the Rotary Alphabet stamp, die cut this and used Dimensionals.

I used black dots to create some dimension and some glimmer paper hearts to embellish.

Why not head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out other entries.

I hope you are having a wonderful day and you come back tomorrow for another card.  Take care of you.

Hello Friend

This card was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest.

I used my Emboss Buddy first to stop any static and powder sticking where it wasn't wanted. I then stamped using Gorgeous Grunge and VersaMark. I used gold embossing powder from Stampin' Up!

I then used the Zig Zag circle dies from Die-namics to make a half circle in vellum then also used the Stitched Rectangle set to make a faux stitched line.

I die cut a 'hello' using a SU set Hello You and some Tim Holtz stickers to embellish.  I also used some wee gold sequin adhering these with Glossy Accents and stamped a couple of arrows in Versafine black ink using a stamp from the Project Life SU stamp set.

Inside I used some gold glimmer paper from SU and the Bitty heart punch and more wee sequin to embellish.  I also used the largest die from the Stitched Rectangle set for a layered writing mat.

I hope you have enjoyed this card and hope you come back tomorrow for another look at a new card. Take care of you.
