Day 5 of my Stampin' Up! Project Life Monochromatic Mini Series

Phew, that is a mouthful of a heading, a bit like a tongue twister lol.  So, welcome to the final day of this mini series.  I have loved making these cards and I hope you have enjoyed seeing them.  So without further adieu here is the Day 5 card.

Back to my signature use of pegs lol, it had to be done didn't it?

I used a silver Sharpie to colour the sticker from the accessory pack and placed this onto some velum. Tim Holtz Ideology stickers have also been added along with sequin from the accessory pack and a silver foil heart to embellish.

Inside the 4x3 card has been layered onto black Bazzill card stock and another heart added to embellish.

I hope you have enjoyed this mini series, I know I have.  Back tomorrow with another card, this one most likely to be full of colour lol.  Take care of you.

More Die-namics Blueprints 15 Cards

Today I have been playing more with my new Die-namics Blueprint 15 die set.  I'm so in love with these dies.

The sentiment has been stamped with Archival ink in black onto velum which has been secured at the back to avoid glue being seen through the velum.  Pearl accents adhered either side of the sentiment.

The butterfly has been die cut from Sizzix Basic Shapes die in gold foil paper and velum, both Stampin' Up!  The paper is retired DSP and Basic Gray for accent.

A pearl and butterfly adorn the inside too.

Turning the card to the side shows the sequin, rhinestones and silver foil strip along the bottom off great.  The sentiment has been raised on Dimensionals.  These butterflies are silver foil paper and velum also from Stampin' Up!

The pegs on both cards have been adhered to the card with Stampin' Up! glue dots with the butterflies simply held in place with them.

Rhinestones on the inside for decoration.

You can see the silver foil paper really well in this picture too.

Happy Anniversary Card

I can't recall ever making an anniversary card before!  So to rectify this today's card is just that.

The background paper is from Stampin' Up! a now retired stack.  The centre heart is silver glimmer paper and the two by each side are actually Tip Top Taupe but look silver here!  The small hearts are silver foil paper, all from Stampin' Up!  A rhinestone has been added to the sentiment which has been raised on Dimentionals.

Hope you have a happy day today.  Take care of you.

Watermelon Wonder and Gold Card

Today's card continues with my gold and Watermelon Wonder theme.  I love this combination as it reminds me of summer corals and suntans.

I used the Star boarder punch to create the accents on the left then layered this on top of a strip of Watermelon Wonder.  I then lined up three words from the Fabulous Phrases stamp set and stamped in VersaMark onto card then heat embossed with white embossing powder.  Using my cinch I then replicated a notebook page.

Sizzix Basic Shapes die was then used to create the glitter and foil hearts in gold.  The sentiment comes from the Flower Patch stamp set and this was also heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

A gold glitter dot was added and gold twine from SU also to pull it all together.

I hope you are enjoying my cards as much I enjoy making them for you to see.

Take care of you.

How To Use The New Heidi Swapp Minc For Home Decor

Heidi Swapp's new Minc (Metalic Incorporated) is an amazing way to bring new designs to your home in an affordable way.

I have taken a white Ribba frame (11 1/2"X11 1/2") from Ikea and used a 12"x12" background from the Teresa Collins 'Urban Market' collection adhering this around the opening.

I then used a Tim Holtz ring binder and centred this above the opening and used the supplied closures to secure it.

I had a saying I took from 'The Strategy Lab' that I had foiled in gold using the new Heidi Swapp Minc and also some Glimmer Paper from Stampin' Up! I then punched and hung them onto the binders.

I love it. I will likely make further sayings for this and change them up from time to time. Also with the neutral backgrounds other foil colours can be used, Heidi Swapp has 10 foils; gold, silver, holographic, red, green, hot pink, light pink, rose gold, teal, and blue. Plenty of opportunities to find a stunning colour just for your home.

Take care of you.
